We are Growing, At Welldone Fine Chemicals Manufacturing LLC in Kizad, Abu Dhabi (Part of Welldone Chemical Group). We are specializing in manufacturing Paint and Coating Chemicals (HPMC, HEC,RDP and CELLOULSE Products) and other products for the oil and gas sector, Wastewater Treatment chemicals.
To drive sales growth, market penetration, and customer acquisition for cellulose ethers (HPMC, HEC) and redispersible powders (RDP) in the MENA region’s paint, coatings, construction chemicals, and adhesives industries. Develop strategic partnerships, manage key accounts, and lead market expansion efforts for Welldone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth:
- Achieve/exceed sales targets for HPMC, HEC, RDP, and allied products in MENA.
- Develop regional sales plans aligned with global business objectives.
- Identify new markets, applications, and customer segments (e.g., tile adhesives, exterior insulation, water-based paints).
- Key Account Management:
- Manage relationships with major paint/coatings manufacturers, distributors, and OEMs.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supply agreements with strategic accounts.
- Resolve customer technical/commercial issues collaboratively with R&D and technical teams.
- Technical Collaboration:
- Liaise with R&D/technical teams to tailor product solutions (e.g., HPMC grades for high-temperature stability in GCC, RDP for flexible tile adhesives).
- Support customer trials, formulation troubleshooting, and compliance with local standards.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to export controls, REACH-like regulations, and HSE requirements.
- Mitigate risks related to logistics, credit, and geopolitical volatility.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Experience:
- 8+ years in B2B sales of specialty chemicals (paint/coatings/construction materials).
- Proven track record selling cellulose ethers (HPMC/HEC), RDP, or polymer additives in MENA.
- Existing network with paint/coatings manufacturers, or construction chemical companies.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of paint/coatings formulations, RDP applications (tile adhesives, EIFS), and cellulose ether functionality (thickening, water retention).
- Commercial Skills:
- Expertise in pricing strategies, contract negotiation, and distributor management.
- Travel: Willingness to travel 50–70% across MENA.
- Languages: Fluent English; Arabic highly advantageous.
