BRAZIL - Sales Manager – Mining Chemicals

WellDone Chemical LLC is a global manufacturer and supplier of specialty chemicals serving water treatment, mining, and industrial markets. Our core portfolio includes polyacrylamide (PAM), polyaluminum chloride (PAC), PolyDADMAC, polyamine, and defoamer solutions used in mineral processing and wastewater treatment applications.

As part of our South America growth strategy, we are seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to expand our mining chemicals business.

NOTE: Applications in ENGLISH will be considered for this position.

Position Summary

The Sales Manager – Mining Chemicals will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing new relationships in the mining sector, and expanding Welldone Chemical’s presence across the Brazilian market. This role combines technical sales, key account management, and strategic business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy for mining and mineral processing chemicals
  • Identify, qualify, and win new customers
  • Achieve and exceed revenue and margin targets
  • Build and manage distributor and key account relationships

Technical & Market Support

  • Provide application guidance for polyacrylamide and related chemistries
  • Support customer trials and performance optimization
  • Collaborate with technical teams on customized chemical solutions
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity

Account Management

  • Lead pricing discussions and contract negotiations
  • Maintain accurate CRM pipeline and forecasting
  • Drive customer retention and account growth

Product Focus

  • Anionic Polyacrylamide (APAM)
  • Cationic Polyacrylamide (CPAM)
  • Polyaluminum Chloride (PAC)
  • PolyDADMAC
  • Polyamine

Primary applications include mineral processing, coal washing, sludge dewatering, and industrial wastewater treatment.


Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related field

Experience

  • 5–10+ years of B2B sales experience in mining chemicals, water treatment, or specialty chemicals
  • Proven track record selling polyacrylamide or flocculants preferred
  • Experience working with mining or mineral processing customers
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills

Skills

  • Technical understanding of flocculation and separation processes
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Established network within the U.S. mining sector
  • Experience working with distributors
  • MBA or advanced technical degree (nice to have)
