We are seeking responsible, self-sufficient Matchmakers comfortable working with high-end clients. In this remote role, you will manage a portfolio of 25-45 clients, conducting regular check-ins, coordinating dates, and providing coaching. Strong coaching abilities are required, and a background in coaching, psychology, or sociology is a plus. Candidates must have a certification in life coaching, relationship coaching, or counseling and possess excellent communication and conflict resolution skills. You will play a key role in ensuring an exceptional dating experience through our app’s “human button” feature, providing the high level of service that our clients expect. Empathy, compassion, and passion are essential.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Client Management:

  • Maintain a portfolio of 25-40 clients.
  • Conduct daily check-ins (6 per day) via phone, text, email, and in-app messaging.
  • Lead 15-30 minute client check-ins and facilitate 45-60 minute coaching sessions as needed.
  • Update client profiles with new preferences during and after coaching sessions.


Matchmaking & Date Coordination:

  • Match clients based on compatibility, relationship goals, and preferences using our CRM integrated with the When We First app.
  • Coordinate dates for clients through third-party services such as OpenTable and Resy.
  • Track date schedules and ensure timely follow-up with clients.
  • Send date confirmations via text and email, ensuring both parties are informed.


Recruitment & Network Building:

  • Dedicate an hour daily to recruiting potential matches, both within and outside the When We First network.
  • Conduct interviews with recruited matches and update the CRM accordingly.
  • Client & CRM Maintenance:
  • Manage and update client profiles within Salesforce, Segment, and the in-app system.
  • Log all client interactions, ensuring seamless CRM updates.


Client Renewals & Payments:

  • Process client membership renewals and payment agreements, coordinating with the sales team as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of client payment history and agreements.


Communication & Relationship Building:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and relationship management.
  • Communicate with clients through phone, email, and in-app messaging to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Send booking requests to marketplace partners for date venues on behalf of clients.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • At least two years of experience in matchmaking with excellent references.
  • Proven experience working with matchmaking and high-end clients.
  • Strong coaching abilities; a background in coaching, psychology, or sociology is a plus.
  • Certification in life coaching, relationship coaching, or counseling is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, Outlook, and softphone technology, and a willingness to learn new systems.
  • Ability to multitask and manage client relationships in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and thorough in documenting interactions.


COMPENSATION


Salary is commensurate with experience and includes bonus incentives for client retention and success stories. Medical, dental, and retirement benefits are available.

The pay range for this role is:

50,000 - 80,000 USD per year (Remote)
