The Guest Services Coordinator ensures the seamless delivery of exceptional guest experiences by supporting the Guest Services team in day-to-day communication, issue resolution, and overall guest satisfaction. This role focuses on handling in-resort guest inquiries, ensuring all requests are addressed promptly, and maintaining high service standards. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are key to success in this role.




What will I be doing?

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for in-house guests, responding to requests and inquiries through phone, email, and messaging platforms.
  • Assist the operations manager/director of operations in coordinating daily tasks and team priorities.
  • Proactively address and resolve guest concerns or issues to ensure a memorable stay.
  • Maintain accurate guest profiles and communication records.
  • Facilitate special guest requests, including activity bookings, transportation, and other concierge services.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments, such as Housekeeping and Maintenance, to address guest-related needs or concerns.
  • Provide guests with personalized recommendations for activities, dining, and local attractions.
  • Monitor and manage inventory for guest amenities, ensuring they are restocked and delivered as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on our portfolio of luxury accommodations and ensure consistency in guest service delivery.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, upholding Whistler Platinum’s standards of luxury and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Perform other duties as required – every day is different, and we work together as a team to ensure smooth operations and outstanding guest experiences.



Our Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or a guest-facing role is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive and proactive problem solver with a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Knowledge of Whistler and surrounding areas, including activities and dining options, is an asset.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks, including managing schedules and guest records.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience in using reservation systems or communication platforms.
  • Flexible and adaptable, ready to assist with a variety of tasks as needed.
  • Team player with a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences.
