In Summary:
We’re looking for a Technical Product Owner to join our growing Product team and to help us drive the development and optimization of our marketing products. The Product Owner will be leading an Agile team and will be responsible for enhancing WHG’s Casino and Sportsbook marketing products & integrations, reporting to the Marketing Product Manager. 


The ideal candidate will have experience working in the iGaming marketing sector, ideally both in the business and product area and will have some experience working with marketing tools such as  Optimove, Smartico, Xtreme Push, Appsflyer, FastTrack, etc. 

 

Your day to day:

  • Execute the vision and roadmap for all casino and sportsbook marketing-related products at WHG across our range of B2B customers. 
  • Assist in triaging complex technical issues or integration bugs that arise between the core platform and third-party tools marketing tools
  • Collaborate with Technical Architects and Lead Developers to ensure marketing tools are integrated into the PAM (Player Account Management) platform in a scalable and performant manner
  • Write clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation for the development team. 
  • Work closely with developers to ensure delivery of high-quality, user-centric features. 
  • Manage integrations with third-party marketing tools and platforms (e.g. bonus providers, gamification tools, push notification platforms). 

 

What we are looking for:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Product Owner or similar in the iGaming marketing area. 
  • Technical background and ability to understand APIs, data flows, and integrations. 
  • Experience in managing highly technical backlogs, including technical debt, architectural enablers, and API versioning using agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.). 
  • Understanding of iGaming, particularly Casino and/or Sportsbook operations and marketing.
  • Proven experience working on CRM, promotions, loyalty systems, or marketing tech stacks. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Understanding of user segmentation, bonus mechanics, and player lifecycle strategies. 


Nice to have:

  • Experience with integrations to CRM platforms (e.g., Optimove, Fast Track, Smartico, Xtreme Push etc.). 
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the iGaming markets (e.g., UKGC, MGA, etc.).
