Hiring Range: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as the primary liaison for our technology relationships including managed service providers, technology partners, and SaaS providers. This role involves overseeing the implementation of a central Hub software tool for managing e-commerce sites, inventory, and orders, as well as  maintaining our tech stack, and ensuring the seamless operation of our ecommerce stores built on SaaS platforms. The specialist will also handle technical integration and client support, including minor coding tasks, API integrations, and acting as the technology subject matter expert during client calls and demos

Essential Responsibilities:


IT MSP and Security Firm Management:

  • Act as the primary liaison between the company and Contango, managing support and device management.

  • Oversee relationships with an additional security and privacy firm, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Technical Integration and Client Support:

  • Conduct technical demonstrations for clients, showcasing integration capabilities and custom coding solutions.

  • Address client queries and provide expert advice on integration processes and best practices.

Tech Stack Management:

  • Serve as the primary contact for all technical inquiries related to the company's technology stack.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of the tech stack, including architecture diagrams and integration points.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the tech stack is up-to-date and functioning optimally.

Hub Software Implementation:

  • Lead the effort to develop and implement a central Hub software tool for managing e-commerce sites, inventory, and orders.

  • Collaborate with service providers to design and deploy the Hub software.

  • Ensure the Hub software integrates seamlessly with existing systems and processes.

  • Manage and optimize the software over time..

Enterprise Business Unit Maintenance and Improvement:

  • Oversee the maintenance and quarterly improvements of e-commerce stores built with our SaaS partners.

  • Implement enhancements focusing on performance, usability, and new feature integration, bringing in external help as needed.

  • Ensure stores meet business and client requirements.

  • Implement user feedback and industry best practices to improve the user experience and interface design.

Coding and API Integration:

  • Perform minor coding tasks and quick fixes on storefronts.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.

  • Ensure all code changes are thoroughly tested and documented.

  • Understand and work with APIs to integrate various systems and tools.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the promotional products, e-commerce, sales industry.

  • Strong understanding of web development technologies and coding languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

  • Experience with B2B and B2C e-commerce platforms.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to work in a remote environment with strong, reliable internet access

Additional Coding and API Skill Sets Required:

  • Proficiency in front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

  • Ability to manage and oversee complex projects.

  • Basic understanding of back-end development (e.g., PHP, Python, or Node.js).

  • Ability to write and debug basic code.

  • Understanding of API integration and data handling.

  • Ability to perform code reviews and follow coding standards.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with integration tools and APIs.

  • Familiarity with security protocols and compliance standards.

  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.

  • Basic proficiency in coding quick fixes and minor development tasks.

Variable Compensation: In addition to a base salary, this role is eligible to participate in Whitestone’s 2024 Company Bonus plan.
