Job Summary: The Web Developer is a new addition to our growing Technology team, who comes with a strong, foundational education in full-stack development and a desire to grow. The Web Developer is responsible for partnering with our operations Team and external consultants in customizing ecommerce platforms such as Liftoff and Shopify. The individual will also build integrations via APIs, and implement features such as SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) and Punchouts with eProcurement systems. Additionally, this role will manage databases, create SQL queries, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative technology solutions.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Customize and maintain ecommerce platforms such as Liftoff and Shopify to create seamless user experiences.
- Implement front-end features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks.
- Ensure ecommerce platforms align with client-specific branding and functionality needs.
- Build and maintain integrations between systems via APIs to enable data flow between clients, vendors, and internal platforms.
- Support backend development, including database architecture and SQL querying across multiple tables.
- Develop and test API workflows using tools like Postman to troubleshoot and optimize performance.
- Configure SAML SSO for secure authentication across platforms.
- Support the development and maintenance of Punchout integrations for eProcurement systems, leveraging cXML workflows.
- Create and optimize SQL queries to manage data relationships and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure database designs support operational requirements and integrations.
- Participate in client calls to understand their technical requirements and provide recommendations.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Production, and Creative, to align technology solutions with business objectives.
- Assist in responding to client security questionnaires and requests for technical or security-related information, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or related field. Relevant Bootcamp education will be considered.
- 1+ years’ experience in web development required. A combination of internship and professional experience will be considered.
- Strong foundation in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive frameworks.
- Basic understanding of backend development and database management (SQL).
- Familiarity with APIs and integrations, with a willingness to learn advanced workflows.
- Ability to work in a remote environment with strong, reliable internet connection

Variable Compensation: In additional to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in the respective variable compensation plan associated with the role.
