As an Account Executive at Widewail, you are a linchpin in bringing this mission to life. You will be at the forefront of our efforts to grow our customer base, educate businesses on the impact of reviews, and ensure every client has the tools and training they need to succeed. Your work will directly contribute to our vision of becoming the most trusted partner for local businesses navigating the complexities of online reputation management.

Outcomes - What Success Looks Like 

In your first 4 weeks:

  • Onboarding: Complete Widewail’s sales training program, demonstrating mastery of our products, customer pain points, and the unique value we provide.
  • Pipeline Development: Get into an outbound rhythm to start building an early-stage sales pipeline and familiarize yourself with our inbound lead qualification and management process. 
  • CRM Setup and Discipline: Fully adopt HubSpot CRM, logging all activities accurately and building a well-organized pipeline.
  • Product Expertise: Begin delivering compelling demos that resonate with prospects and address their specific challenges.
  • Lean On Your Teammates: Partner up with our BDR, Product, and Response teams to understand how we work together to find, grow, and serve our customers.  
  • Forecast Accuracy: Begin providing regular, accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates to leadership.

In your first 3 months:

  • Customer Acquisition: Close 5-10 new accounts, ensuring successful onboarding and training for each client.
  • Market Understanding: Develop a comprehensive understanding of your assigned territory, including customer needs and competitive dynamics.

By the end of your first year:

  • Revenue Growth: Consistently exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to team revenue goals.
  • Customer Retention: Achieve a 90% customer retention rate, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
  • Process Contributions: Propose and implement at least two improvements to Widewail’s sales playbook or processes.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner effectively with marketing and leadership to drive a 10% improvement in overall close rates.

Competencies - What You Need To Be Uniquely Great At

  • Sales Excellence: Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify, and close deals in a fast-paced environment. Experience meeting or exceeding quotas is essential. Unique combination of curious and disciplined in driving to what matters most to customers and then running a tight sales process to keep deals on track. 
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Strong ability to identify and address customer pain points, tailoring solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Comfortable In An Outbound Culture: You understand and accept that you will be responsible for producing a healthy portion of your own pipeline - and you’re comfortable working in a team environment that supports one another as we find new and innovative ways to connect with our prospects.  
  • Communication and Presentation: Exceptional skills in articulating product value and conducting persuasive, tailored demos.
  • Organizational Discipline: Proficiency in CRM usage and a commitment to maintaining accurate and actionable records.
  • Adaptability and Resilience: Thrives in a dynamic environment, pivoting strategies as needed while maintaining focus on goals.
  • Technical Fluency: Competence with tools like HubSpot, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Growth-oriented attitude, always seeking feedback and opportunities to enhance performance and impact.
