ABOUT THE ROLE


Windsor is seeking a strategic and innovative Director of Marketing to drive our brand visibility, enhance our market position, and enable business growth. This pivotal leadership role will report directly to the CEO, serving as a vital member of the executive team. The ideal candidate will be a visionary marketing leader who can transform complex engineering concepts into compelling narratives, develop high-impact marketing strategies, and build a world-class marketing function. As the Director of Marketing, you'll embody Windsor's core values: The Right Attitude, Ownership, and Constant Improvement while inspiring others across the organization to become active participants in our marketing success.


WHAT YOU'LL DO


1.      Practice Lead Enablement + The Toolkit

Equip Practice Leads with the systems, tools, and templates to pursue and win work.

  • Design proposal frameworks and pursuit strategies that reflect the Windsor Way
  • Transform complex engineering concepts into compelling, client-facing marketing narratives
  • Galvanize individuals across the organization to become active participants in business development through enablement tools and messaging
  • Implement CRM systems and pursuit tracking tools to support business development visibility

 

2.      Brand Platform & Market Positioning

Elevate Windsor’s visibility, relevance, and attractiveness to clients and recruits through a compelling brand strategy and campaign execution.

  • Drive Windsor’s strategic marketing vision and collaborate with the CEO on brand positioning and growth initiatives
  • Establish and manage a unified brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels and materials
  • Lead Windsor’s signature brand campaign—leveraging new videos and a redesigned website—to elevate visibility and attract both top-tier clients and talent
  • Develop and implement a thought leadership and content strategy that positions Windsor’s experts as recognized industry authorities
  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns to generate interest and build awareness across priority markets

 

3.      Marketing Operations & Infrastructure

Build scalable systems, workflows, and team structure to support marketing execution and future growth.


  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing function, including internal resources and contractor support
  • Develop efficient marketing operations, including systems, workflows, and analytics
  • Manage the marketing budget to maximize strategic impact and long-term return on investment
  • Inspire cross-functional collaboration and establish strong working relationships with firm leadership



QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 12+ years of progressive marketing experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership
  • Proven success in professional services or engineering consulting environments
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Experience building and leading high-performing marketing teams
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Exceptional proposal strategy and competitive positioning expertise
  • Strong digital marketing and analytics capabilities
  • Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Budget management expertise
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with executive leadership

The pay range for this role is:

120,000 - 150,000 USD per year (Vancouver)

120,000 - 150,000 USD per year (Minneapolis, Minnesota)
