ABOUT THE ROLE

Windsor is seeking motivated individuals who love to learn and grow their skills, and who want to help their teammates do the same. As a Civil Design Engineer, you will support project teams in delivering innovative infrastructure solutions under the guidance of experienced professionals in both municipal and land development departments. This role offers the opportunity to develop technical expertise through hands-on experience with engineering calculations, CAD design, and construction administration. You'll work closely with project teams to translate engineering concepts into detailed designs while maintaining Windsor's commitment to quality. The ideal candidate brings enthusiasm for problem-solving, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset that aligns with our core values of Right Attitude, Ownership, and Constant Improvement.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Demonstrate Windsor’s core values though positive representation and strong relationship building.
• Assist our Project Engineers with a wide variety of infrastructure projects including water, wastewater, stormwater, and land development.
• Perform engineering calculations and technical work under qualified supervision.
• Perform drafting and modeling using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Revit software.  
• Support project delivery through engineering, drafting, and planning activities. 
• Assist with project plans and specifications, preparing cost and quantity take-off estimates. 
• Bring an enthusiastic approach to your work daily, with a willingness to see challenges as opportunities.  
• Participate in continuous learning of industry standards and codes.
• Complete site visits as needed.  

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ Years of experience in CAD, Civil3D modeling and drafting (Coursework counts)
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a similar degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience preferred. 
• Familiarity in preparing, reading, and understanding technical documents  
• Experience with and ability to perform drafting and modeling in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Bluebeam
• Knowledge of basic MS Office skills including Word and Excel  
• Strong written, verbal and technical communication skills, and ability to work on a team
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
