ABOUT THE ROLE


Windsor is seeking motivated individuals who love to learn and grow their skills, and who want to help their teammates do the same. The Electrical Engineer will drive innovation in electrical system design, lead project components and collaborate with teams to implement efficient, sustainable solutions while developing and maintaining strong client relationships. Their growing technical expertise will contribute to designing and optimizing building electrical systems, ensuring quality control, and managing project workflows, ultimately contributing to improved energy efficiency and safety in diverse built environments.



WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Demonstrate Windsor's core values: The Right Attitude, Ownership, and Constant Improvement.
  • Lead electrical system design and general consulting for a variety of project types in multiple industries.
  • Perform and delegate drafting and modeling in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and/or Revit software.
  • Perform engineering calculations to ensure high-quality design.
  • Prepare quality documents per Windsor's Quality Management Plan.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (Mechanical, Plumbing, Architectural, Structural, etc.)
  • Deliver engineered solutions while looking out for the client's best interest and project needs.
  • Work with the team to provide constructible engineering documents and excellent client service.
  • Continually grow knowledge of Electrical systems, codes, and other disciplines.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Mentor/Train less experienced engineers/drafters.
  • Complete site visits as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience
  • EIT certification Preferred
  • 2-4 years experience in the MEP design industry
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficiency in electrical engineering calculations; comfortable with advanced calculations
  • Proficient in standard industry software: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam
