Your Role in Our Journey

The Inside Sales Manager is a hands-on, in-the-weeds leader responsible for the daily productivity, operational structure, and performance of the inside sales team. This role is focused on driving predictable sales results by managing team members to strict quotas, developing essential sales processes, ensuring deep product knowledge, and handling the administrative rigor of compensation and quoting. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong coaching and process-building skills.


What You'll Be Uncorking


Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-Day Team Management & Performance

  • Quota Management: Directly manage the sales team to ensure individual and team quotas (calls, conversions, revenue) are met or exceeded daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • Coaching & Development: Conduct regular 1:1 coaching sessions, call monitoring, and performance reviews. Provide real-time feedback and training to improve selling techniques and close rates.
  • Daily Operations: Oversee the call team's schedule, workflows, and lead assignment process to maximize sales opportunities and efficiency.

Process, Structure, & Enablement

  • Sales Process Creation: Collaborate with the VP to design, document, and enforce a structured, repeatable sales process from lead qualification through closing.
  • Product Knowledge Mastery: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure the team maintains expert-level knowledge of our product catalog, value propositions, and competitive differentiators.
  • CRM/Tool Adoption: Ensure consistent and accurate use of the CRM system for all quotes, opportunities, and customer interactions to maintain data integrity for forecasting and reporting.

Administrative & Financial Oversight

  • Commissions: Accurately check, calculate, and submit commissions and bonuses for the sales team, resolving any discrepancies quickly and fairly.
  • Quoting & Order Submission: Oversee the quoting process to ensure pricing accuracy, proper documentation, and smooth submission of sales orders.
  • Reporting: Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports, providing actionable insights directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing.


The Perfect Blend (What You Bring to the Table)

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in inside sales, with at least 2 years in a management or team lead role, demonstrating a track record of meeting or exceeding team sales targets.
  • Proven ability to manage the "nitty-gritty" of an inside sales operation, including process creation, commission calculation, and daily performance management.
  • Deep familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Netsuite, Gladly, Hubspot, Salesforce, etc) and sales engagement tools.
  • Excellent coaching, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Must be a self-starter who is detail-oriented and thrives in a high-accountability environment.
  • Proximity to the Westchester/White Plains/NYC area is highly preferred for in-office or hybrid work.


This position offers a flexible hybrid schedule, requiring employees to be onsite at our Valhalla, NY headquarters three days per week, with Tuesday designated as a required in-office day.

The pay range for this role is:

75,000 - 85,000 USD per year (Hybrid (Vallhalla, NY))
