Job Title: Southwest Regional Manager

Location: Dallas, Texas (Remote/Hybrid with Travel Required)




Position Summary:

The Southwest Regional Manager is a key role at Winston Artory Group responsible for overseeing the appraisal and advisory business in the Southwest region. This role combines project management, client relationship oversight, and team coordination. The Manager will ensure timely and compliant delivery of appraisal reports, contribute to business development initiatives, and maintain high standards in documentation and client service.




Key Responsibilities:

  • Project & Appraisal Management:
    • Field and vet initial inquires and convert appropriate prospects to projects in conjunction with the wider team as needed.
    • Oversee appraisals from intake to final report delivery, coordinating with in-house and external appraisers.
    • Manage scheduling, inspections, research, report preparation, and document formatting to meet IRS and USPAP standards.
    • Ensure timely, accurate, and budget-compliant delivery of all appraisal and advisory projects.
    • Track and manage project workflows, status updates, and monthly billing and invoicing.
    • Support Business Development with proposals and optimize appraisers’ schedules.


  • Client & Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the main point of contact for regional clients, ensuring responsive and proactive communication.
    • Build and maintain relationships with collectors, referrers, and industry professionals across legal, financial, insurance, and museum sectors.
    • Represent Winston Artory Group at conferences, meetings and art-related events.


  • Business Development & Relationship Management:
    • Collaborate with the Senior Director and Associate Director of the Southwest Region and Winston Artory Group’s business development team to help grow and maintain a robust network of client and referral relationships.
    • Ensure client and referral source information is current and organized in internal databases.
    • Provide strategic input on marketing efforts and assist in the creation of promotional copy and materials.
    • Increase regional brand visibility by engaging with collectors, galleries, dealers, financial advisors, attorneys, insurers, museums, and other industry stakeholders.
    • Produce regular reports and insights on business development metrics and client engagement trends.




Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college; advanced knowledge of fine art, decorative arts, or jewelry preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, appraisals, or a related art-industry role.
  • Certification in USPAP (or willingness to complete and maintain certification).
  • Experience in appraisals preferred.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential material.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with appraisal software and databases (e.g., FileMaker) and Salesforce a plus.




Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel throughout the Southwest and occasionally within the U.S.
  • Comfort with client-facing roles and high-end art handling.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and performance-driven environment.
