The Opportunity: The Candidate Services Coordinator will work alongside the Candidate Services Manager to support the needs of candidates up and down the ballot and execute the Spring and Fall Candidate Services programs. Through one-on-one support with candidates across the state, you will help build a bench of Democratic candidates at all levels.


What You’ll Do at WisDems: 

  • Work with the Candidate Services Manager to execute our Spring and Fall support programs. 
  • Provide support to a portfolio of candidates as their point of contact, which may include data and organizing questions, designing literature and mailers, assisting with social media, setting up websites, staffing occasional events, and general campaign feedback and advice. 
  • Find creative ways to support down-ballot candidates who are often functioning on tight budgets and have little campaign experience.
  • Build and maintain relationships with county parties, candidates, and campaign managers.
  • Provide resources, training opportunity information, and campaign consultation to non-targeted state legislative candidates.
  • Assist with additional projects to aid candidate recruitment and support as assigned by the Candidate Services Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Preferred):

  • Familiarity with VAN (Votebuilder) or similar software.
  • Graphic design skills. 
  • Experience working on campaigns and/or directly with a candidate for elected office, particularly within Wisconsin.
  • Access to reliable transportation and the willingness to travel statewide.

The pay range for this role is:

45,000 - 55,000 USD per year (US)
