About Wolfjaw Studios
Wolfjaw Studios is an engineering-focused video game studio based in Troy, New York, that was founded by a passionate team of developers with decades of experience. Our team has been trusted to build the systems that power some of the most popular modern multiplayer games. In turn, this has enabled publishers to better engage their player base, help drive esports to the forefront of media, and further improve core game services to provide a better player experience. We work closely with studios and publishers to establish trusting relationships in order for us to deliver products and services that are unique to each of their needs.
Our Engineering Org
The Engineering discipline at Wolfjaw Studios is the heart of our team, focusing on developing and improving the features we curate for our client partners.
We're involved in almost every aspect of development you can think of, with a focus on backend development for online game services.
At this time, we have limited open positions, but we are always looking to add curious, eager to learn, passionate engineers to the pack. Outlined below are some of the areas where we tend to focus.
Backend
- Languages: Golang, C#, Python, C++
- Databases: Relational databases, document stores, in-memory stores/caches
- Hosting and deployment: AWS, Azure, GCP, On-Prem, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, GH Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD
Game Client
- Engines: Unity, Unreal, and various proprietary engines (most of which are written in C++)
Frontend
- Languages/Frameworks we focus on: Javascript, Typescript, React, Vue.
Management
- Experienced with leading engineering teams
All of our positions are full time (non-contract) W2, salaried roles.
