About the role

Are you a positive, friendly, energetic hospitality professional with experience in housekeeping?  We are currently hiring an enthusiastic individual to join our amazing team! The Comfort & Coziness team brings a positive attitude and exceptional attention to detail to make our students feel at home.  We work as a team to enhance the student experience, with high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in a student residential setting.  You should be adaptable to change in your work area with a willingness to learn new skills and improve your existing strengths.

Employment Type: Full-time

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Hiring Rate: $19.00/hr

Benefits: eligible upon completing probationary period

What you'll do

Here's an example of the tasks that you'll do on a daily basis. This list is not exhaustive and you may be assigned other work that is not indicated on this list as well:

• Cleaning of elevators, vacuuming and mopping of residential floors
• Collecting waste, switching the compactor and preparing bins for collection
• Cleaning suites, prepping bedrooms for new students to arrive.
• Prepare beds with linens and ensure all supplies are in suites.
• Tidying of exterior of building, collecting any garbage
• Cleaning of lobby, front desk area and laundry room
• Cleaning lounge and hangout spaces, including gym and demonstration kitchen
• Other cleaning & housekeeping duties as assigned

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is a good fit with our team and has a great attitude and friendly personality. Candidates should have some knowledge of cleaning, however full training will be provided.
