The Opportunity

We are seeking an IT Specialist to join our team, focused on delivering seamless onboarding, software access management, and ongoing IT support for team members across the organization. This role will play a critical part in ensuring smooth IT operations, compliance alignment, and an excellent employee technology experience.

This is a contract position for up to 40 hours per week. Candidates must be located in India or the Philippines and must be able to work US Eastern Standard Time hours.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the new hire IT onboarding journey—create accounts, configure access permissions, set up collaboration tools, and deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
  • Manage offboarding by securely revoking access, assisting with data transitions, and coordinating closely with HR to ensure secure and smooth exits.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, including password resets, MFA troubleshooting, access requests, and general support inquiries.
  • Maintain and optimize company account and license management systems (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, SSO/SAML tools).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document, refine, and streamline IT workflows and escalation procedures.
  • Facilitate IT-related training, including security awareness and onboarding resources, when needed.


Who You Are

  • 1–3+ years of experience in IT support or a related technical role, with emphasis on software access and user-facing IT services.
  • Proficient in cloud productivity and communication platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft 365, and HubSpot, as well as identity and access management tools.
  • Experienced with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Desk, Linear).
  • Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering an outstanding onboarding and IT support experience.
  • A proactive, self-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and works well with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

  • IT certifications (CompTIA, Google, Microsoft, etc.)
  • Experience with automation or account provisioning tools
  • Familiarity with AI tools, analytics, scripting, or CRM automation (especially HubSpot)
