Senior Full Stack Engineer (Partner Platform)

About Workweek

Workweek is reimagining how business leaders create, connect, and collaborate. We’re building Operator Networks: professional communities where verified leaders share high-signal insights.

We fund this mission through our Partner Platform, a B2B ad platform that helps marketers invest and attribute their dollars effectively. Think of it like Facebook Business Manager, but purpose-built for the nuances of B2B sales cycles.

Our Approach

At Workweek, we build brands and audiences in specialized B2B sectors by providing expert content crafted by industry practitioners who have actually done the job. Once credibility and a sizable audience are established through our unique content, we further support these sectors by offering exclusive professional memberships. These memberships provide category-leading value, enabling leaders to connect with peers, access a comprehensive library of educational content, and utilize tools and services that streamline daily operations.

About the role

Our Partner Platform is evolving from a reporting tool into the “Facebook Business Manager for B2B’. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Backend Heavy), you will be the technical driver behind this innovation.

You will lead two massive technical frontiers:

  1. Deep CRM Integrations: Moving beyond simple webhooks to build robust, bi-directional syncs with Salesforce and HubSpot.
  2. Big Data Dashboards: Architecting how we take millions of rows from BigQuery and transform them into interactive visualizations for our partners.

What you'll do

  • Architect External AI Workflows: Build the pipelines that utilize LLMs (Claude, GPT) to summarize partner inputs, extract takeaways, and generate high-value content automatically.
  • Build Internal Productivity Tooling: Design and implement internal LLM-powered flows to automate manual tasks and 10x the productivity of our internal operations and engineering teams.
  • Integration Expert: You have deep experience with the Salesforce and HubSpot APIs and know how to operationalize data pipelines for bi-directional syncs
  • Master Big Data Visualization: Solve the "too much data" problem. You will implement technical strategies like server-side aggregation, materialized views in BigQuery, and frontend virtualization (React-Window/Virtual) to ensure our dashboards remain performant even when handling millions of data points.
  • AI-Native Development: We are an AI-first shop. You are expected to be an expert in utilizing Claude, Cursor, and other AI-integrated IDEs to ship faster and smarter.

Qualifications

  • Operational Self-Sufficiency: You are proficient in Terraform and have basic operational knowledge of AWS. While you don't need to be an expert , you should be capable of deploying your own services and unblocking yourself during development. Familiarity with data warehouse platform such as  BigQuery is a big plus
  • SaaS/Data Veteran: 6+ years of experience building Enterprise SaaS tools. You have a proven track record of shipping data-heavy products where performance is a feature, not an afterthought.
  • Integration Expert: You have deep experience with the Salesforce and HubSpot APIs. You understand the nuances of rate limits, concurrent request handling, and maintaining data integrity during bi-directional syncs.
  • Backend & Performance Specialist: You are a backend engineer first. You know how to optimize Node.js services and SQL queries for speed. You understand when to use Redis for caching versus when to hit the warehouse.
  • Data Visualization Engineer: You are comfortable with the "math" of data. You know how to use Canvas-based rendering or SVG optimization to build charts that don't lag the browser when displaying massive datasets.
  • TypeScript Mastery: You write clean, type-safe code with a deep understanding of modern React and Node.js patterns. You are comfortable building basic frontends that are data and visual-heavy, capable of implementing strategies like "frontend virtualization" to render "interactive visualizations" without performance lags
  • High Agency: You thrive as the "Main IC." You don't need a map; you’re comfortable building the map as you go.
