About the role

  • As the Store Manager, you are responsible for leadership of all daily functions of a detail store location and ensuring outstanding customer service, labor and quality. The ideal candidate for this position will not only have operational and management experience but will possess some intangibles that will aid in taking their location further into the future.   You will oversee all employees at the location on behalf of the company and report directly to the Area/District Manager. These employees include: detailers and car washer attendants. Helping the team set work towards achieving goals is a huge function of this position as well as holding the team accountable for performance standards. The Store Manager must have proven ability to lead and energize a team to achieve sensational results, while being committed to employee engagement, thus maximizing operational excellence and brand loyalty.

What you'll do

  • This position is a hands-on, working manager role
  • Managing day to day operations and workflow within a store
  • Controlling and maintaining labor cost expenditures to maximize profitability
  • Conduct daily audits of all work completed in order to maximize profitability and minimize errors
  • Basic computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft outlook
  • Eagerly willing to learn and adapt to new technology databases for growth and development 
  • Complete weekly approval of payroll and timecards
  • Ensures policies are administered accurately, fairly, and consistently including disciplinary procedures and documentation complying with company policy Essential Knowledge and Skills 
  • Enforce company policies and communicate safety procedures to employees
  • Conduct daily huddles with team members to ensure a safe and accident-free workplace
  • Ability to sustain for periods of up to 12 hours in length and have the stamina to work in hot, cold and wet environments. 
  • Working with your team to complete details and oversee quality
  • Completing details independently as necessary
  • Maintain the facility and equipment and inventory management
  • Identify talent and help to develop future leaders for the organization
  • Inspect and improve quality of work while uploading photos of completed vehicles
  • Efficiently organize your time around a variety of tasks in an organized and timely manner while meeting daily work requirements.
  • Oversee the maintaining of the physical appearance of the store (building and employees)
  • The willingness to come to work on time and stay on task when on the clock
  • Driving productivity while meeting quality expectations consistently
  • Coaching and developing a team of detailers and car wash attendants
  • Possess the ability and desire to inspire and drive both personal and professional growth amongst your team members. 
  • Building solid partnerships with our clients and guests
  • Great verbal communication and comfortable speaking to senior level management
  • Ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction is delivered consistently
  • Create and deliver a positive customer service experience before, during and after detail/delivery.
  • Attending monthly management meetings and participate to discuss workforce management and dealer client satisfaction
  • Assist the District manager weekly on upcoming scheduling requirements. 
  • Work with the District Manager to handle day to day callouts, tardiness and schedule changes

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • 2 years or more of management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate on all levels
  • Must be available to work on weekends, holidays as required by season and role
