We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Field Application Engineer to join our team and support our global customer base.

Position Summary

The Field Application Engineer (FAE) plays a vital role in supporting technical sales initiatives and ensuring customer success throughout North America, South America, and Europe. This individual is responsible for delivering technical guidance across the customer engagement lifecycle—before, during, and after pilot evaluations—while also serving as the voice of the customer to influence product development and innovation. The FAE works cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams to align technical solutions with market and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to understand technical requirements and ensure products are configured or developed to meet their specific use cases.
• Support pre-sales engagements and lead technical aspects of proof-of-concept evaluations, pilot programs, and bench testing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders across technical and business functions.
• Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams to provide market and customer insights that help shape the product roadmap.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer workshops.
• Conduct vehicle-level testing and document results; create technical work instructions and training materials.
• Assist in defining and refining standard product configurations to support scalability and rapid deployment.
• Provide on-site technical support during customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
• Act as a subject matter expert, offering product knowledge and technical support across internal teams.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline—or equivalent hands-on experience.

Experience:

• 2–4 years of experience in hardware and/or software development, preferably within the IoT or technology sector.
• Experience with hardware configuration, firmware flashing, and bench testing.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C, MATLAB, Java, or similar is a plus.

Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across departments, customers, and partners.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, both domestically and internationally.

Pay Range: $110,000-$125,000
