We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our team and work closely with our Technology Solution Providers (TSPs).
Position Overview:
The FAE Support Engineer plays a critical role in enabling the success of the Field Application Engineering (FAE) team across North America, South America, and Europe. This individual supports technical sales efforts throughout the customer engagement lifecycle—before, during, and after customer pilot evaluations—ensuring seamless pre-sales evaluation and outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales & Pilot Preparation
- Manage and maintain the FAE team's sample inventory, ensuring availability and alignment with current product offerings and software updates.
- Own and execute the sample order fulfillment process, including:
- Provisioning devices with custom configurations and firmware.
- Own and conduct internal meetings to review status of open customer sample requests.
- Conducting bench testing for functionality and performance.
- Preparing engineering cables, accessories, and documentation for customer setup.
Customer Engagement & Pilot Support
- Coordinate the shipment and installation of sample devices for customer pilot evaluations.
- Actively monitor deployed devices during pilot periods, identifying issues or opportunities to improve the product experience.
- Collaborate with FAEs to communicate findings, resolve issues, and ensure customer success.
- Document lessons learned post-pilot to inform future customer engagements and process improvements.
Technical Troubleshooting & Collaboration
- Engage directly with engineering teams to resolve technical issues related to new customer setups and device functionality.
- Provide on-site support as needed for customer installations, troubleshooting, or third-party integrations.
- Flexibly support off-shift activities to accommodate global customers and urgent needs.
Facility & Process Support
- Contribute to the maintenance and organization of shared lab and workspace areas.
- Maintain a sample inventory checklist and request sample inventory when required.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S events and process optimization activities.
Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in hardware and/or software development, ideally specifically in the technology or IoT industry.
- Strong understanding of hardware configuration, firmware flashing, and bench testing.
- Familiarity with programming languages (C, Matlab, Java, etc.) a plus.
- Skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to communicate clearly across teams and with customers.

- Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours based on customer needs.
- Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Salary Range: $85k-$95k
