Key Responsibilities:

Assist in-house attorney in the following areas:

  • Contract Support:
    • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts, including software-as-a-service (SaaS) agreements, NDAs, licenses, and vendor contracts.
    • Assist in preparing responses for RFPs and managing legal documentation related to contracting.
    • Maintain and organize the company’s contract management system, tracking deadlines and compliance requirements.
  • Corporate Governance: Support the preparation and maintenance of corporate records, including resolutions, board minutes, and filings.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including legal counsel, operations, and business development, to support business goals.
  • Litigation Support: Provide assistance in managing legal disputes, including internal research tasks and liaising with outside counsel.
  • Intellectual Property Support: Assist in managing patent and trademark portfolios.
  • General Support: Provide general assistance to in-house attorneys and other members of executive leadership team as necessary.

 


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:
    • At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a large law firm or
      in-house in the technology, IoT, manufacturing, or software industries.
    • Experience with intellectual property prosecution and litigation is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of contracts, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
    • Familiarity data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), cybersecurity issues, and intellectual property matters is a plus.
    • Excellent project management, organization, and time-management skills with attention to detail.
    • Ability to work as part of cross-functional teams.
    •  Able to interact with all levels of staff and personnel, including management and support staff.
    • Able to follow up and follow through on projects.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range: Base $85k-$105k, plus bonus opportunity
