About the role

We’re looking for a Mid-Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our growing QA team, focusing on the quality assurance of our SmartAPI and SmartOps products. These platforms handle massive volumes of video data, telemetry, and operational intelligence — so we need someone who thrives on building test automation that scales and ensures precision at every level.

As part of the QA team, you’ll help us push the boundaries of safety and performance in fleet technology by designing robust test strategies, automating workflows, and ensuring seamless delivery in a fast-paced, data-intensive environment.

Responsibilities

·       Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for SmartAPI and SmartOps — including video event validation, API correctness, and real-time data accuracy

·       Ensure both functional and non-functional testing is in place, covering everything from API to UI.

·       Support and improve our CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable delivery of features and updates

·       Collaborate closely with Product, Sales and API teams to ensure test coverage aligns with acceptance criteria and real-world usage scenarios

·       Interpret test results and video data patterns to identify edge cases, regressions, and stability concerns

·       Develop risk-based test plans to ensure critical scenarios are always covered

·       Bring quality-focused thinking to sprint planning and story refinement sessions, ensuring all features are testable and measurable

·       Monitor and evolve test suites to keep up with the growing complexity of SmartAPI and SmartOps.

Qualifications.

·       3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong automation focus

·       Expertise in functional and non-functional testing, including performance, reliability, and integration testing

·       Proven experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript or similar)

·       Solid understanding of REST APIs, ideally with testing tools like Postman, Selenium, JMeter, or custom scripts

·       Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab and Azure DevOps

·       Experience with video or data-heavy platforms is a strong plus

·       Very good written and spoken English

·       Curious, collaborative, and proactive approach to quality

Nice to Have

·       Experience testing or telematics platforms, video streaming, computer vision

·       Familiarity with fleet management systems

·       Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
