HR Coordinator

This role supports our people and operations by ensuring our HR processes run smoothly, accurately, and with the care our mission deserves.

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Prepare offer letters, coordinate background checks, and process new hire documentation.
  • Schedule and facilitate new employee orientations to ensure a positive start for every team member.
  • Oversee offboarding activities, including exit interviews and final documentation.

Employee Records & HRIS Management

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential employee records in the HRIS and personnel files.
  • Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with internal policies and employment regulations.

Recruitment Support

  • Assist with the full recruitment cycle, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Help deliver a seamless and professional candidate experience aligned with our values.

Benefits & Payroll Administration

  • Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries related to health insurance, 401(k), and other programs.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time through Rippling, partnering with the Finance team to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, company events, and recognition programs that build community and morale.
  • Promote understanding of our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and help coordinate ESOP-related communications and events.

Compliance & HR Administration

  • Support compliance with all employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare HR reports, documentation, and correspondence as needed.
  • Assist with HR audits and maintain required records.

Special Projects & Accounting Support

  • Contribute to HR and organizational improvement projects, such as updating policies or implementing new HR tools.
  • Assist the Accounting team with basic data entry and reconciliation tasks when needed.

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (experience with Rippling a plus).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Works well independently and collaboratively.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
