Summary

The Corporate Event Specialist is responsible for the successful planning and execution of internal and external events from initial concept through post-event follow-up. This role plays a key role in bringing the YA brand to life by creating memorable, high-impact event experiences that strengthen client relationships, reinforce brand presence, and support strategic goals.  


Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an annual conference/events calendar aligned with business priorities and needs 
  • Plan and execute a range of events including client functions, technical seminars, industry sponsorships, and internal meetings   
  • Manage all aspects of event planning including budgeting, timelines, vendor relationships, venue selection, and on-site logistics  
  • Coordinate with external vendors, venues, and agencies to ensure seamless execution and a premium attendee experience 
  • Oversee  event communications  including invitations, social media posts, branded collateral, speaker presentations, and follow-up materials 
  • Manage invite list, RSVPs, and follow-up communications using CRM systems and Hubspot  
  • Develop and communicate event timelines, logistics, and expectations with key stakeholders 
  • Track performance metrics, engagement data, and business impact to evaluate and optimize future events  
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhance the attendee experience 
  • Ensure all events reflect and elevate the YA brand 
  • Stay informed on emerging trends in B2B events, technology, and professional services marketing 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field 
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate event planning, preferably within a technical or professional services firm 
  • Experience with executive level events and high-end hospitality programs 
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple events and navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Service-oriented mindset with creative problem-solving abilities 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours as needed 
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, marketing automation tools (Hubspot), and event management platforms
