We’re looking for a Business Development and Strategy Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company’s strategic direction. You will develop and nurture strategic partnerships that align with our company's goals and objectives as well as help drive the overall corporate strategy. Reporting to the VP – Business Development and Strategy, you will be part of a small but critical team working cross-functionally with our Marketing, Product, Investment, and other teams to expand our reach and accelerate our go-to-market, customer, revenue, and overall franchise growth.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and relationship management skills, the ability to seamlessly switch between high-level strategic planning and hands-on execution, and a track record in building and managing partnerships effectively, preferably in the consumer financial services space. Key Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Identify, prospect, and build a pipeline of high-value partnership opportunities
- Cultivate and manage long-term, strategic relationships with key partners to drive consistent and cost-effective customer acquisition and revenue growth
- Quarterback the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, from initial outreach and relationship-building to negotiation, contract execution, and partner onboarding
- Collaborate closely and extensively with internal stakeholders to develop and execute partnerships around marketing and customer acquisition, product integration, fund distribution, and other initiatives
- Become an expert on Yieldstreet's products and services, and effectively communicate our value proposition to potential partners
- Track and analyze partnership performance, providing regular reports and insights to the leadership team
- Represent Yieldstreet at industry events and conferences to build our network and identify new partnership opportunities
- Strategy
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to inform our partnership as well as overall corporate strategy
- Collaborate with senior leaders to define and refine Yieldstreet's corporate strategy and long-term growth plans
- Help evaluate potential M&A and new business / market opportunities that align with Yieldstreet’s strategic goals
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic initiatives, corporate strategy, or a related role, preferably in the consumer financial services space
- Established network of contacts in the financial services, asset and wealth management ecosystem
- Track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing partnerships that drive measurable results
- Strategic and analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making and the ability to translate complex market dynamics into actionable insights
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels
- A builder’s mindset – you thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and are excited to shape processes as you go
- A scrappy, entrepreneurial approach – you are a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, comfortable wearing multiple hats and solving problems creatively

This is a New York-based role. The base salary range for this position is USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus and equity compensation as part of the total compensation package.
