After School Group Leader

Description:

Hours: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM (Nights & Weekends Off!)

Location: Varies - MISD Elementary Schools, Downtown YMCA, Northwest YMCA

Join a team that makes a difference every day! Under the supervision of the Child Care Directors, the After-School Group Leader provides direct care and supervision for children in our after-school and/or summer camp programs. This role supports a safe, engaging, and fun environment that meets YMCA policies, procedures, and Texas HHS minimum standards.

You’ll implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum designed by the Director, helping children learn, grow, and thrive through meaningful experiences.

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
• Experience working with youth is preferred
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid and child abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire
• Pass Background Check & Drug Test
