Who you are:

• We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Legal and Business Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in the intersection of law and business within a health tech company, giving you the opportunity to engage with a variety of legal challenges in a high-growth environment. You will be working closely with the team, gaining experience in regulatory research, legal operations, and transactional matters while contributing to the business side of the company. This internship will expose you to the real-world application of legal expertise in business settings and provide valuable cross-functional collaboration opportunities.

What you'll do

• Conduct in-depth research on regulatory issues impacting the health tech industry, including data privacy laws, healthcare regulations, and other compliance requirements.
• Assist in the operationalization of legal research by working closely with legal and business teams to interpret and implement regulatory findings.
• Gain exposure to transactional work, including reviewing contracts, assisting with negotiations, and preparing legal documents.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams, including product, operations, and compliance, to help ensure legal requirements are met in all aspects of business operations.
• Support the legal department with general operational tasks, including tracking legal requests and managing legal workflows.
• Help with the preparation and organization of legal materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in addressing ad hoc legal queries and supporting legal operations and corporate governance matters.

What you'll bring:

• Strong interest in health tech, business law, and regulatory matters.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Prior experience in a legal or business-related role is a plus, but not required.
