This role will be located in Vancouver, BC and is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.


How You'll Contribute

  • Assists with full-cycle recruitment, including coordinating a high volume of phone, zoom and on-site candidate interviews.
  • Fully manages co-op recruitment (including job postings, coordination with co-op offices and candidates, interview scheduling, on-boarding and funding applications).
  • Ensures an exceptional candidate experience end-to-end with timely, personable communication throughout the process.
  • Maintains all open job postings on websites utilizing in-house and external sources.
  • Provides support, as needed, for career fairs and recruitment events.
  • Manages contracts and coordination with external recruitment agencies. 
  • Follows standard operating procedures to ensure accurate information is entered and maintained in the company’s HRIS and other systems.
  • Provides administrative support to the Talent Acquisition and HR team (including scheduling, crafting Employment Agreements, contract management, submitting PR/POs, processing background checks, employment verifications, etc.).
  • Coordinates new hire on-boarding, including providing back-up support facilitating HR Onboarding. 
  • Manages contractor intake and off-boarding processes. 
  • Assists with initiatives and projects as needed.
  • Provides back-up to the other team members as needed.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 0-2 years of experience in Recruitment or Human Resources required. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific field is an asset.
  • Experience working with HRIS and/or ATS is an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, managers, and external parties.
  • Strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail. Equally comfortable following established processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Able to prioritize work independently and shift focus quickly as business needs change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Experience with calendar management is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Excel.

The base salary range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the location for which the job is posted and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by a variety of factors and the salary offered may vary depending on the successful candidate’s location and qualifications (including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, education, training, skills, and experience).

The pay range for this role is:

48,000 - 73,600 CAD per year (CA)
