Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. This role involves handling, organizing, and transporting materials efficiently while ensuring accuracy and safety in a warehouse or stockroom setting.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Store materials in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, supply rooms, or storage areas.
• Pack and unpack materials for stocking or distribution.
• Perform physical inventory checks of warehouse tools and materials.
• Inspect incoming shipments for defects or damages and report issues to supervisors.
• Verify the accuracy of shipments and maintain inventory records.
• Distribute materials and supplies to designated locations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety regulations and procedures.

Experience & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or related field preferred.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to solve problems and improve work processes proactively.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic math skills for inventory management and record-keeping.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent walking, standing, and manual handling of materials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally lift heavier loads.
• Ability to crouch, stretch, and perform repetitive movements.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying conditions.

Work Environment:

This position is based in a warehouse setting where teamwork and efficiency are essential.

Shift:  

Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
