2026 Summer Internships

Our core competencies include systems engineering, program management, logistics, production support, aircraft maintenance, and aviation/aerospace services. We were founded in 2015 and since our establishment, we have been attracting the best talent in our fields of interest enabling us to provide cutting-edge solutions and support to our warfighters. We understand and provide expert consultation on weapons systems acquisition programs, maintenance/modernization programs, and sustainment programs. We know defense and we know aircraft systems.

The Summer 2026 Internship Program provides undergraduate and graduate students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment while contributing to meaningful business initiatives. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals and leaders within their assigned department, gaining exposure to real-world projects, business operations, and industry practices.

This internship program is designed to provide practical learning experiences, professional development opportunities, and insight into potential career paths within Engineering, Finance, Marketing, M&A, or Human Resources.

Interns will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assist with department initiatives, and develop valuable technical and professional skills throughout the duration of the program.

 

Essential Job Functions:

Responsibilities will vary based on department assignment but may include:

  • Assist with departmental projects, research, and analysis to support business objectives.
  • Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and project reviews.
  • Conduct data analysis and prepare reports, presentations, or documentation.
  • Support process improvements and operational initiatives within assigned teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain exposure to different business functions.
  • Assist with research, benchmarking, and market or industry analysis.
  • Contribute ideas and insights to improve processes, products, or services.
  • Present project findings or internship outcomes to leadership at the conclusion of the program.

 

Department Focus Areas

Engineering

  • Assist with engineering design, testing, analysis, or documentation.
  • Support product development or systems engineering initiatives.
  • Participate in technical problem-solving and process improvement efforts.

Finance

  • Support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis.
  • Assist with financial modeling and business performance analysis.
  • Work with accounting teams on financial processes and reporting.

Marketing

  • Assist with marketing campaigns, market research, and content development.
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights.
  • Support digital marketing, branding, and communication initiatives.

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

  • Assist with financial analysis, market research, and industry analysis.
  • Support due diligence preparation and business evaluations.
  • Analyze potential investment opportunities and strategic growth initiatives.

Human Resources

  • Assist with recruiting initiatives, onboarding programs, and HR projects.
  • Support employee engagement and organizational development efforts.
  • Help analyze HR data and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

 

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in a relevant field such as Engineering, Finance, Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or related discipline.
  • Rising Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate student preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship, project, or research experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership through student organizations, projects, or volunteer activities.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in the assigned functional area.

Schedule:

M-F, 8-5 -Central Time.  Ability to work after hours during the week and weekends, as the workload requires.

Physical Requirements:

This position is based on site in a professional office environment and requires regular interaction with employees, visitors, and leadership. The role involves extended periods of sitting or standing and frequent use of office equipment.

The pay range for this role is:

25 - 25 USD per hour (Albers Aero HQ-Albers Headquarters)
