About the role


The Client Services Manager is responsible for developing and implementing service strategies by leading the assessment of the customer's procurement pipeline timeline, project goals, quantifying PV and Energy Storage offerings that Anza can deliver through the Anza platform to achieve positive business outcomes and ensuring the completion of portfolio pipeline to drive successful and returning clients.


The Client Services Manager directly impacts customer satisfaction through managing relationships, follow-through, and problem-solving to deliver a polished and reliable client experience for our Advisory Services division.  This role ensures client needs are met while supporting the company's revenue and sales goals.


Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Advisory Services clients, understanding client needs and driving the procurement strategies
  • Manage client onboarding, account setup, and service delivery processes
  • Collaborate with sales, sourcing, operations, and product teams to align services with client needs
  • Champion and lead on time delivery of client deliverables
  • Analyze client feedback and develop strategies to improve retention and engagement
  • Prepare and present reports on client activity, satisfaction, and performance metrics
  • Develop and maintain strong long-term client relationships that drive loyalty and growth
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and client requirements
  • Overview of Anza’s Advisory Services
    • Market Insights quarterly deliverable to more effectively and efficiently track industry intel
    • Portfolio optimization & supplier due diligence
    • Initiate procurement by managing supplier shortlist, solicit Best and Final Offer (BAFO), negotiate the most suitable contract T&Cs on behalf of the customer, final presentation & recommendation, and contract execution

While no one individual will possess them all, the successful candidate will bring many of the following experiences, skills, and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree required, MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably within high-growth startups, solar development, development engineers, project developers, sales and account management experience, customer success, project management
  • Direct solar and/or storage industry experience preferred
  • Seasoned generalist leader with direct experience in several different functions including Strategy, Operations, Marketing, Product Management
  • Experience influencing teams in highly cross-functional settings, and in a role that spans strategy, analytics, product and operations in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong program management skills with experience leading end-to-end execution of projects/programs that have transformed company operations and delivered quantifiable business impact
  • First-principles thinker (e.g., ability to question how we are working rather than simply executing)
  • ERP experience such as Netsuite, SAP, Salesforce
  • PM, CSCP or CPSM Certification a plus

The pay range for this role is:

110,000 - 130,000 USD per year (Remote (United States))
