As an Arrow Highway Laborer, you become part of a Team that is passionate about their craft and shares a common goal of exceeding customer expectations. You will work with and learn from our Professional Electricians as you assist them to perform electrical installations, upgrades, additions, and repairs to roadway lighting and traffic signal systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists with installation of roadway lighting, traffic signals, poles, duct banks, ground boxes, manholes, handholes, and other electrical systems and devices as needed.
- Assists with the installation of conduit such at EMT conduit, Rigid conduit, PVC conduit, corrugated pipe, and O-Cal, including cutting and threading using hand and power tools.
- Assists with pulling cables of various sizes.
- Loads/unloads materials and tools and keeps site and vehicle storage areas clean and organized.
- Picks up tools and equipment and secures job site each day.
- Transports tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to needed areas of the worksite, either by hand or mechanical means.
- Digs trenches/holes for underground installations.
- Utilize hand and power tools, including cutting devices, drills, saws, hydraulic, and pneumatic and maintain them in good condition.
- Performs work in a safe manner in compliance with all federal, state, local, project, and company safety requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Desire to work in and learn the Highway Electrical Industry (1-2 years of experience working in the electrical industry preferred).
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Commitment to working safely.
- Careful attention to detail and timely follow-through.
- High standard of workmanship.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Ability to take directions, complete tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to interact with company team members and other contractor employees.
