Buckeye Power Sales has been providing on site power solutions for businesses, contractors, engineers, municipalities and homeowners since 1947, which makes us the oldest Rehlko (formerly Kohler) generator distributor in the country. We are also a distributor of Siemens Energy engines and generators for a wide range of power generation applications such as combined heat and power, waste to power, prime, and continuous. Our Service Sales Representative are responsible for:
- Performing sales calls in person, over the phone, and via e-mail
- Developing a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling, direct mail activities and networking
- Managing selling activities so as to optimize and sustain sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Working with customers to sell, resolve problems, and answer questions
- Seeking and continuously develops knowledge and information about competitor activity, pricing and tactics, and communicates this to relevant Company staff
- Following up on quotes and sells benefits of choosing BPS
- Providing ideas to Service Manager that will help grow the Service Department
- Participating in marketing events
- Recording all activities in computer system; database maintenance
- Assisting accounting department with payment collection
- Attending sales seminars, sales meetings, or educational activities to stay up to date on the latest developments, trends, regulations and products in the marketplace
- Achieving business and organizational goals, visions, and objectives
- Identifying problems and provide alternative courses of action

Requirements
- Conforms with the core values of BPS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 18+ years of age
- 2+ yrs industry experience preferred; working knowledge of engines & electricity may be acceptable
- 2+ yrs experience in sales desired
- Able to read, analyze & interpret engineering specifications, documents & regulations
- Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain insurability through company insurer
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent listening skills
- Above average math skills; able to calculate discounts, gross profit, percentages
- Strong presentation skills and ability to influence others
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Capable of preserving confidential and sensitive material
- Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task required
- Computer skills to include MS office products (Word, Excel, Outlook); data entry
- Must represent the company in a positive manner at all times including a professional appearance
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Must be able to pass background check and periodic drug screens & license checks
Salary is based on skills and experience.

The pay range for this role is:
50,000 - 60,000 USD per year (Indiana)
