The role:


The Delivery Engineer Level 3 is a vital technical role supporting the deployment, operation, and reliability of the Capacity platform. This role balances customer-facing activities related to support and licensing with technical ownership of core infrastructure, including virtualization, orchestration, and scripting.


Responsibilities:

  • Triage and manage customer support issues, ensuring effective communication through resolution.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Drive the automation and technical management of license issuance and renewal workflows.
  • Run and maintain integration tests, particularly with IVR platforms
  • Apply understanding of the MRCP protocol where relevant.
  • Create and maintain Virtual Machines (VMs) on platforms like VMware and AWS EC2.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters, often deployed via Helm.
  • Run, troubleshoot, and maintain Docker containers.
  • Possess a working knowledge of microservices architecture and its impact on cloud network architecture within a Kubernetes environment.
  • Execute, maintain, and update internal scripting in languages like Python and Go.
  • Support automation efforts for deployment, testing, and other operational tasks.


Requirements:

  • Significant experience with virtualization and cloud platforms, specifically the creation and maintenance of VMs on VMware and AWS EC2.
  • Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration, including running and troubleshooting Docker and installing/configuring/maintaining Kubernetes clusters via Helm.
  • Proficiency in scripting with Python and/or Go, able to run, maintain, and edit existing scripts.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, managing customer support and acting as a technical liaison with engineering teams.
  • Experience with integration testing, such as with IVR or similar platforms.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with MRCP protocol, telephony or voice technologies
  • Prior experience with license issuance and renewal workflows.

Salary range:

  • The expected base salary for the Delivery Engineer III role is between $125,000 and $145,000.
