· Assign cable and pair and/or office equipment to POTS/ADSL/Fiber service orders requiring manual intervention
· Process line changes and/or assign slots and ports to POTS/ADSL/Fiber service orders requiring manual intervention
· Provide and update assignment for various network copper and fiber network elements for Installation and Repair when necessary
· Provide support for fiber techs unable to activate service orders, ONTs, and to investigate and resolve assignment issues
· Provide support to field techs troubleshooting copper ADSL issues (No IP, No train, speed issues)
· Provide support to field techs to correct assignment of facilities and equipment on service orders and correct errors within the COMPAS, OS/PLANT, OS/ORDER, Provision Center, Granite, Triad and Looking Glass
· Resolve "Working in Place" (WIP's), "No Tac" and "LOC" discrepancies for both Residence. and Business customers
· Review and resolve customer related DSL issues submitted via Aegisweb
· Perform MLT testing for technicians via Loopcare
· Refer service orders to OS Plant Engineering and the Cable Maintenance Center through the use of Order Work Flow Manager and RTE database when there are no qualified facilities available for Dial tone and/or High Speed data
· Administers Line & Number database; open/expand NXX when additional codes or ranges are required
· Assist customer contact organizations with service orders that require TN assignment expertise
· Investigate and resolve problems in conjunction with Bus./Res. Office personnel, Installation and Repair, NOC, Central Office, Dispatch Support, Engineering, Cable Maintenance and IT regarding assignment, translation, provisioning of slots and ports functionality/problems
· Provide database support activity on systems, COMPAS, OS/PLANT, Provision Center, TALON, SWOOP, OS/ORDER, GRANITE, TRIAD, LOOKING GLASS, Aegisweb, Loopcare
· Prepare and administer all Trunk/Prime Advantage orders when related to DSL service
· Process and Assign all Basic services, Centrex, DID, etc., when related to DSL service
· Process and Assign services for major corporations and all Corporate Customers when related to DSL
· May be required to cross train others
