About the role
D-Wave is seeking an EDA (Electronic Design Automation) Tool Developer to join our Integrated Circuit (IC) Design team, which builds the chips at the heart of our quantum computers. These chips are some of the most complex superconducting integrated circuits ever fabricated and require a sophisticated, customized EDA toolchain.
We use a combination of commercial, open-source, and internally developed tools to enable this work. You’ll contribute to building, extending, and maintaining this ecosystem in collaboration with IC designers, engineers, and scientists.
The IC Design team is part of the Processor Development (PD) group, which leads the advancement of our quantum computing hardware. This is a software engineering role at the intersection of physics and hardware design. Your work will directly impact our quantum processor architecture and its capabilities.
