Position Title: ​Business Process Analyst​

Position Location: Remote - work virtually from anywhere in the United States


Job Summary

The Business Process Analyst drives operational clarity, efficiency, and compliance across the organization. Acting as the single point of process ownership, this role partners with multiple departments to document, standardize, and improve business processes, ensuring stakeholders align on “one way of working.”


The Business Process Analyst will also oversee the revenue visibility process, monitoring and pushing for process compliance and updates. Using tools like Power BI, the analyst measures performance, identifies gaps, and implements sustainable process improvements. This is a hands-on role focused on adoption, governance, and continuous improvement, with potential for leadership growth in operational excellence.


Essential Functions

Process Documentation & Standardization

  • Document current-state processes and create swim lanes.
  • Map revenue visibility inputs: backlog, pipeline stages, forecast updates, management adjustments.
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate stakeholder adoption of standardized processes; educate teams and leaders.
  • Develop SOPs, templates, and training materials to support consistent execution.

Governance, Cadence, and Communication

  • Establish repeatable operating cadences with agendas, pre-work checklists, and deliverables.
  • Lead meetings and workshops that drive alignment without creating bottlenecks.
  • Maintain a Revenue Visibility Playbook with definitions, RACI charts, templates, SOPs, and guides.
  • Drive stakeholder follow-up and alignment, including escalation paths when needed.

Quality Controls & Compliance

  • Monitor process hygiene, compliance, and outstanding items.
  • Conduct audits to ensure alignment with compliance requirements.
  • Define lightweight controls: validation checks, approval steps, exception queues, and audit trails.
  • Track KPIs for timeliness, data completeness, forecast variance, and backlog accuracy.

Technology & Continuous Improvement

  • Implement software solutions to enhance tracking, reporting, and process efficiency.
  • Run ongoing improvement cycles: issue log → root cause → corrective actions → updated SOPs → retraining.
  • Explore opportunities to leverage AI and other technologies to optimize processes.

Completion of Assigned Tasks and Deliverables on Time and on Budget

  • Performs Other Related Duties as Assigned


Position Requirements (Advanced level for all)

  • Proficiency in process mapping, swim lanes, workflows, and visual documentation.
  • Structured problem solving and root-cause analysis.
  • Process re-engineering, standardization, and compliance monitoring.
  • KPI definition, reporting, and audit readiness.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to educate, influence, and align cross-functional teams.
  • Practical change management and adoption expertise; implement processes without bureaucracy.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and multi-priority environments.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Task-focused, organized, and eager to learn.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 10%, this may include travel to any or all 50 US states
  • Travel is defined as physically leaving home on behalf of business activities including but not limited to client sites, meetings with other employees, meeting for business development purposes, running errands on behalf of the business, attending industry conferences, etc.


Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in professional services environments such as engineering, accounting, consulting, or software organizations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting process improvement, audit, or compliance initiatives.
  • Experience using Power BI and working within Agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and cross functional collaboration.
  • Certifications such as Six Sigma or Agile preferred

78,750 - 95,812 USD per year (Remote (United States))
