Matchday PA Announcer

Location: Gillette Stadium, Foxboro MA / Centreville Bank Stadium, Pawtucket RI

Reports to: Fan Experience & Gameday Manager

Position: Part-Time
Schedule: This role will be expected to work all BLFC home games, which you can view here.

The Role
Boston Legacy FC is seeking a knowledgeable, high-energy matchday public address announcer to inform, engage, entertain fans throughout all home matchdays. The ideal matchday PA announcer should have an engaging stadium presence and be comfortable following a run of show with the ability to adapt on the fly.

Key Responsibilities

• Announce pregame activities, starting lineups, all in-game action, public address announcements, presentations and other announcements that come up throughout each game.
• Engage with fans in the stadium, encouraging crowd participation, leading chants, and creating a lively and positive atmosphere.
• Collaborate with the game production team, where applicable,  to plan and script in-game atmospheric elements, ensuring they align with the overall match day experience.
• Demonstrate crowd awareness and adjust energy based on game flow and fan response.
• Provide availability for non-matchday events, as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Availability for all home BLFC matches 
• Availability for non-matchday events offered throughout the year, as needed
• Prior PA announcer  experience preferred
• Soccer knowledge is preferred
• Ability to follow a run of show and execute scripted and non-scripted elements
• Comfortable and confident speaking in front of large crowds and on camera
• Spanish or Portuguese speaking is a plus
