About the role

  • We are currently seeking a highly motivated and professional Chief Financial Officer to join our dynamic team.
  • This remote position is ideal for a candidate who is fluent in Turkish and English and has a strong interest in our areas of practice.
  • Working hours for this role are between 09:00 and 17:00 according to the Pacific Time Zone where our office is open, which corresponds to 19:00 in the evening and 03:00 in the morning TR time.


What you'll do


  • Prepare, monitor, and adjust budgets, forecasts, and financial reports (e.g., cash flow, P&L),
  • Analyze budget variances and team performance to optimize profitability,
  • Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections,
  • Oversee accounting operations, including entries, closings, reconciliations, and financial software,
  • Coordinate tax filings and ensure compliance with local regulations,
  • Handle payroll processing and employee benefits administration,
  • Manage procurement, vendor relationships, and expense approvals,
  • Generate management reports and summaries for strategic decision-making,
  • Lead long-term financial planning, investment evaluations, and cost-efficiency strategies,
  • Oversee compensation planning, including salary reviews and adjustments,
  • Enhance financial reporting, data systems, and administrative processes,
  • Ensure tax compliance, financial risk management, and policy development,
  • Manage remote workforce compensation and vendor contract negotiations.




Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred,
  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive financial management experience, including leadership roles,
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis,
  • Proven experience in overseeing accounting operations and managing financial systems,
  • Solid understanding of tax compliance, payroll, and employee benefits administration,
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset,
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities,
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of working cross-functionally and with external partners,
  • Experience working with remote teams and international vendors is a plus,
  • Fluency in English is a must.
