Senior Manager, Network Development

Senior Manager, Network Development

As the Senior Manager of Network Development, you will be the foundational hire for our provider growth engine. Reporting directly to the Head of Network Development, you will own the physical expansion of our footprint, starting with the Dallas-Fort Worth market. This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role for a "hunter" who can navigate the complexities of healthcare contracting while building the scalable playbooks that will allow us to expand across Texas and beyond.

Core Responsibilities

·       Market Expansion Strategy: Analyze geographic and specialty data to identify and prioritize "must-have" provider partners for the launch.

·       Full-Cycle Recruitment: Own the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial prospecting and cold outreach to closing high-value partnerships.

·       Complex Contracting: Lead negotiations with various provider types (e.g. Health Systems, Hospitals, facilities, mid-sized multi-specialty groups and IPAs), managing bespoke rate structures and contract language to ensure mutual value.

·       Network Adequacy Ownership: Ensure the developing network meets all appropriate standards for accessibility and specialty density.

·       Product Collaboration: Translate provider feedback into actionable product requirements to improve our platform’s value proposition and ease of use.

·       NET DEV Playbook Development: Document and refine our "Network Development Playbook," creating a repeatable process for entering new metropolitan areas.

·       CRM Management: Maintain high-integrity data in HubSpot/Salesforce to provide leadership with real-time visibility into the recruitment pipeline.

Experience & Requirements

   ·       5–8 Years of Experience: Proven track record in provider recruitment or network development, preferably within a high-growth health tech startup or a major payer (e.g. BCBSTX, United, Aetna, Cigna).

·       Expert Negotiation: Demonstrated ability to close sophisticated, multi-million dollar contracts (e.g. Health Systems, Hospitals, facilities, Physician Groups and IPAs).

·       Healthcare Expertise: Knowledge of the DFW (or other geographies) provider landscape and existing relationships with key regional stakeholders and the knowledge/ability to leverage expertise in expansion markets.

·       Builder Mindset: You are energized by the "0 to 1" phase and prefer building your own processes over following a pre-existing manual.

·  Analytical Literacy: Ability to use data to map markets, identify coverage gaps, and report on recruitment velocity.

·  Strong communication skills: Ability to engage, persuade, and build relationships over the phone and email
