About the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain WordPress-based websites, ensuring functionality, performance, and user experience. You’ll work closely with designers, content creators, and other developers to deliver exceptional web solutions tailored to client needs.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Custom Development: Create custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Website Maintenance: Regularly update, troubleshoot, and maintain WordPress websites.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and SEO compliance.
• Integration: Implement third-party tools and APIs into WordPress sites.
• Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate design wireframes into functional web pages.
• Testing & Debugging: Conduct quality assurance testing and resolve cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Security: Ensure websites are secure, implementing best practices to mitigate vulnerabilities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Understanding of graphic design tools like Figma.
• Strong understanding of PHP, MySQL, and WordPress core.
• Experience with custom themes and plugin development.
• Familiarity with WordPress REST API and Gutenberg blocks.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of hosting environments and server management.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
• Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies.
