About the role

We are looking to add a Custodian to our growing Administration Department. This is an onsite role at our Rockdale, Texas location. This position will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment. 

Essential Functions

• Performs routine cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on seasonal/project requirements such as disposal of trash, sweep, mop, vacuum floors, stock and organize supplies, and maintaining custodial equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Clean windows and sanitizing office surfaces daily.
• Periodically perform deep cleaning and special projects.
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Traveling to other sites as needed.

Education and Experience 

• Previous custodial experience preferred but not necessary.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to read, understand, follow safety procedures.
• Ability to understand written and verbal communications.
• Time-management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality due to access to office spaces.
