Position Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Database Administrator to support the performance, availability, and security of core database systems. This role is essential to ensuring smooth data operations and effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders. Acting as a liaison much like a business analyst, this person will collaborate cross-functionally to support and improve enterprise-wide data solutions.
- Manage and maintain the availability, performance, and security of SQL and other databases.
- Support business units by translating non-technical requirements into database solutions.
- Provide advanced support for issues related to databases, applications, and web servers.
- Architect, implement, and troubleshoot Microsoft Power Platform tools, with a focus on Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Design, maintain, and optimize data warehouses and business intelligence environments.
- Recommend improvements in database and server technologies to align with evolving industry standards.
Position requirements:
- Associate degree in computer science or related field with four years of relevant experience —OR— Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with three years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to work across business and technical teams
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and database security best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for reporting and dashboard development
- Familiarity with enterprise reporting tools and the Power Platform toolset
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in troubleshooting and technical support
- Background in server and database configuration and change control
- Experience in designing project-level database environments
- Knowledge of overall database architecture and development best practices

The pay range for this role is:
100,000 - 125,000 USD per year (Hybrid (Minneapolis, Minnesota, US))
