The Senior Consultant is responsible for delivering Deltek ERP implementation, consulting, and technical services to AEC clients — including system implementations, SSRS reporting, SQL automation, data migrations, and consultative training on best practices for system optimization.
This role manages clients and projects, monitors budgets and billing, and pursues new service opportunities — presenting multiple solutions tailored to clients’ needs and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery across all engagements.
The Senior Consultant serves as a trusted ERP advisor to AEC clients, combining technical depth in Deltek platforms, SQL, and the Microsoft Power Platform with strong project management and client service skills.
What you’ll do at SN:
- Develop a deep understanding of SN’s service offerings and identify cross-selling opportunities within the existing AEC client base
- Support and participate in SN’s incentive plan to generate additional services revenue
- Conduct and manage ERP implementations (conversions and new system implementations)
- Create SSRS reports for Deltek Ajera and Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint ERP systems
- Create SQL automation using T-SQL (stored procedures, triggers, functions)
- Assist with creation and testing of BI dashboards using Power BI
- Develop ETL processes for data migrations into Ajera and Vision/Vantagepoint ERP systems
- Build data automation tools using the Microsoft Power Platform
- Proactively identify and address potential client issues, collaborating with internal resources
- Support and participate in User Group Meetings
- Participate in educational programs offered to clients, prospects, and employees
- Monitor all engagements to ensure timely delivery within documented scope and budget, achieving clients’ stated goals
- Update project progress and status in Vision ERP; maintain accurate client and project records
- Coordinate custom services efforts related to assigned projects
- Pursue opportunities beyond existing workload to ensure utilization targets are met
- Seek out support and guidance from teammates; be approachable and help the team succeed
- Provide expertise in project management, software functionality, business process improvement, industry best practices, and training

- Consulted on Deltek products for external clients
- Consulted on Deltek products internally - typically in a Finance role
What it takes to be a Senior Finance Consultant:
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Deltek Vision, Vantagepoint, or another AEC ERP platform
- Minimum 5 years of software implementation and training experience (Deltek preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience preferred
- Proficiency in SSRS, T-SQL (stored procedures, triggers, SQL scripts), and ETL processes
- Experience with web services (SOAP/REST APIs) and data extraction from multiple systems
- Knowledge of C#, VB, JavaScript, and Business Intelligence tools
- Deltek ERP Expertise: Implementation and technical proficiency with Vision, Vantagepoint, and/or Ajera
- SQL & Automation: T-SQL development, SSRS reporting, ETL, and stored procedure creation
- ERP Implementation: Conduct and manage full ERP conversions and new system implementations
- Client Service: Present multiple solutions and deliver consultative training to AEC clients
- Project Management: Manage ERP engagements within scope, budget, and timeline
- Communication: Translate technical ERP solutions clearly for AEC clients at all levels

Salary: The salary range for this position is an estimate of $130,000 - $150,000. A final compensation offer within this range will be based on factors including an individual’s skill sets, experience, knowledge, licensure and certifications, and geography.
