About the Role:


This is a unique opportunity for a jack of all trades designer. You will  join a high performing team where you will flex your muscles around UI design, jump into crafting external communications in the form of email and decks next, then switch back into defining user journeys, prototyping, testing, and executing. You’ll also further your knowledge about the entertainment business at large. As an early member of the team, you will be up close and personal with all aspects of planning, launching new features, and scaling this business.

This is a position for a product design leader who is strong in product UI/UX strategy and design evolution, has designed and launched multiple features where you have collaborated closely with scrum teams, and integrated changes based on customer and cross-functional feedback.

Day-to-Day:

  • Evolve the UI/UX for the entire product experience across all formats of app design and web platforms
  • Translate high level requirements into fully articulated user experiences from wireframes to high-fidelity mockups to prototypes 
  • Design, code, test, and iterate HTML pages and emails as we learn to best communicate and interact with our customers
  • Create PowerPoint presentations for stakeholders and board meetings 
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams, product, and internal stakeholders in an agile manner
  • Manage your workload to ensure that engineering is provided with designs and engineering code deliverables are reviewed to ensure a high quality bar by required deadlines
  • Utilize prototypes and live features to test, analyze data, and make product improvement and experience design recommendations based on data and consumer insights
  • Influence the roadmap and product development to drive company value based on insights and empathy
  • Thoroughly and completely understand our user base and product space through user feedback, competitive analysis, and industry reports

Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of UI/UX product design experience across CTV/Mobile apps and web
  • 5+ years experience in designing for entertainment development and the related customer-facing features/experience in a scalable design system
  • Can understand business goals and translate into design requirements
  • Respect for and understanding of the Wonder Project audience
  • Have built prototypes for initial concept validation and external user testing 
  • Can single-handedly code landing pages and emails
  • Self-sufficient with minimal oversight, but not afraid to ask questions
  • Figma proficiency for designing, prototyping, and creating design systems
  • Strong history of deep collaboration, communication, and relationship building company-wide at all levels from engineering teams to leadership to key partners with both engineering and marketing teams
  • History of generating positive, productive work environments
  • Impeccable personal and business ethics


Salary & Benefits:

Salary Range:  $100,000 - $130,000

Equity participation in management option pool (Series A company)
