What you'll do
As a Nuclear Engineering Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to critical projects that drive advancements in nuclear technology. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the design and analysis of nuclear systems and components, ensuring performance, safety, and compliance.
- Conducting simulations and modeling of nuclear reactors and fuel cycles using industry-standard tools.
- Supporting research initiatives on innovative nuclear technologies and materials.
- Collaborating with engineers to design and execute experiments for system validation.
- Preparing technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Contributing to a culture of safety and innovation in all project phases.
What We're Looking For
We’re seeking ambitious and technically skilled individuals with the following qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Nuclear Engineering or a related field.
- Strong foundation in reactor physics, thermal-hydraulics, and nuclear materials.
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., MCNP, RELAP, SCALE, OpenMC, or similar).
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards for nuclear design and safety.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Passion for clean energy and a commitment to advancing nuclear technology.
