What you'll do

As a Nuclear Engineering Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to critical projects that drive advancements in nuclear technology. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the design and analysis of nuclear systems and components, ensuring performance, safety, and compliance.
  • Conducting simulations and modeling of nuclear reactors and fuel cycles using industry-standard tools.
  • Supporting research initiatives on innovative nuclear technologies and materials.
  • Collaborating with engineers to design and execute experiments for system validation.
  • Preparing technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contributing to a culture of safety and innovation in all project phases.

What We're Looking For

We’re seeking ambitious and technically skilled individuals with the following qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Nuclear Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in reactor physics, thermal-hydraulics, and nuclear materials.
  • Experience with simulation tools (e.g., MCNP, RELAP, SCALE, OpenMC, or similar).
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards for nuclear design and safety.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Passion for clean energy and a commitment to advancing nuclear technology.
