About the role

  • We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team.
  • This remote position is ideal for a candidate who is a native Spanish speaker, fluent in English, and eager to work across our litigation practice areas, including personal injury, workers’ compensation, and mandamus litigation.
  • Working hours for this role align with the Pacific Time Zone, between 09:00 and 17:00 PT.


What you'll do

  • Communicate with Spanish-speaking clients to gather facts, documents, updates, and ongoing case information,
  • Draft legal documents, declarations, letters, notices, and case summaries for attorney review,
  • Assist with pre-litigation and litigation tasks including evidence collection, medical records requests, demand package preparation, and court-related filings,
  • Support mandamus litigation by organizing case timelines, drafting supporting statements, and coordinating with clients regarding delays in asylum or family-based applications,
  • Assist with workers’ compensation matters, including forms, medical treatment follow-up, and benefits tracking,
  • Coordinate with co-counsel and out-of-state attorneys for personal injury matters,
  • Maintain accurate case notes, deadlines, and documentation within firm systems,
  • Provide regular case updates to the team leader and attorneys,
  • Ensure a smooth and supportive client experience throughout the entire case lifecycle.


Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish,
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in this field,
  • Prior experience as a Litigation, Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, or Immigration Paralegal preferred,
  • Strong legal research skills and the ability to efficiently find, analyze, and interpret relevant information,
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion,
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases at once,
  • Comfortable working U.S. business hours or overlapping with U.S. Pacific Time,
  • Strong client-facing skills, empathy, and patience.


Nice to have

  • Experience with mandamus litigation or federal court filings,
  • Familiarity with personal injury case management systems, medical records, and demand preparation,
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision,
  • Strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and varied case types.
