About the role

This is a hands-on engineering role. You'll ship code daily, build internal tools and automation, and work directly alongside the commercial team to deliver technical solutions quickly. You'll own features end-to-end, from understanding the problem to deploying the solution. We operate AI-first. Claude Code is the primary development environment across the engineering team, and AI tools are embedded into how we build, test, and ship.

This is a Malta-office based position on a hybrid model.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Automation that streamlines operations: deployment pipelines, DNS management, monitoring, and alerting
• Internal tools in Python, Node, and React connecting CMS, project management, analytics, and SEO platforms
• Data pipelines feeding live dashboards — BigQuery, PostgreSQL, ETL jobs you own end-to-end
• Production fixes and performance improvements with fast turnaround

Requirements:

• Production experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar)
• You've built and deployed something end-to-end: idea to code to deploy to users
• Python or Node for automation and data work
• Strong SQL experience
• WordPress experience, it's a core part of our stack
• Comfortable debugging and resolving production issues independently
