The Opportunity

Product Managers at TheGuarantors get the opportunity to drive exciting initiatives across the company. This role is uniquely positioned to lead one of the highest priorities for the company — helping improve how we assess risk and underwrite our core rent guarantee product. As the first-ever PM for this team, you will get the opportunity to help us form and execute our strategy to expand our pool of customers, while creating better methods of underwriting risk, including evolving the types of data we utilize. To do so, you will work closely with a tight-knit pod of Risk professionals, Data Scientists and Data Engineers. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a dynamic environment, tackling data-driven challenges, and would be eager to develop their expertise within a collaborative team. 

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Management, Engineering or Technical experience
• Expertise in credit, rental, or insurance risk assessment, with proven experience in developing underwriting models.
• Experience with AI/ML product development
• Extensive experience working with diverse data sources, including traditional credit reports, alternative data such as cash flow and income insights, and fraud detection data to enhance decision-making and risk assessment.
• Experience working in a collaborative environment with Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Risk professionals
• Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions
• Expertise in full-stack software development lifecycles

Base Salary

The base salary range is between $165,000 - $175,000 annually.

Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, location and current market data and may vary from the range above.
